Hi there- we are a family from Cape Town , South Africa with a large collection of classic cars . Many of them being in original condition as we were Mercedes Agents for many years in the early days of the South African motor industry . We are selling certain vehicles and I think this is one of the special ones. It has been fully restored and very little expense spared and all original parts have been restored and reused. The vehicle was originally imported into our neighboring country of Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in 1968. It came to South Africa in 1988 and here is where it was restored. We have the original papers from its import showing the original chassis number and engine numbers as the stand today . These are eng no - 105-00-150000(AR00121-01310) and Chassis/VIN 381294. Only 1200 of these cars were made and not many have survived as matching numbers cars.

The upholstery is not original material and has been redone using the correct acceptable purist upholstery with all original screws used on door panels etc.The motor has been fully redone and the car runs like a dream. All internals ,bearings,pistons,etc are all new. The car has done very little mileage since its restoration a few years ago. As can be seen from the pictures , this car represents a great opportunity to own a pure classic and very collectable Alfa . Its also a great investment and will continue to appreciate .
