Of Alfa Romeo’s legendary sports cars, perhaps none are more popular in motor sports than its Giulietta series. And none of those Giulietta variants cut a more striking figure on the track than the Berlina Aerodinamica Tecnica-influenced aerodynamic design of Franco Scaglione’s Sprint Speciale.

The car offered here is a well-prepared vintage racer with a long, rich history. The car has competed at tracks such as Sears Point, Thunderhill, Laguna Seca, Riverside, Coronado, and the Bahamas since 1982 under sanctioning bodies CSRG, HMSA, VMR, and others, and has logged 10 starts at the Monterey Historic Automobile Races.

A bare-metal coachwork restoration in 2009 by Frank Zucchi Restoration resulted in class awards in both the 2010 Hillsborough and 2010 Presidio of San Francisco concours. A 2015 engine and driveline rebuild by Auto Scientific of California produced 128 hp on the dyno, and the car remains race-ready with virtually no miles on its twin-cam motor. The interior restoration was performed by Jeda Generations Auto Upholstery of California. The included roll cage unbolts for road driving events.

Offered with an unassembled AR00120-series engine, street suspension, roll bar, dyno sheets, logbook, records, and receipts, this Alfa Romeo is an excellent choice for a rally or event car, a stunning concours entry, or a spirited vintage racer in one spectacular example
