According to factory records, this Sprint Speciale was built in November 1963. Originally finished in Bluette, an elegant blue green color, the Giulia SS was sold to its first owner in Fano, a small town on the east coast of Italy. In March 1997, then-owner Graziello Bucci of Pesaro registered the Sprint Speciale with the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI). It is believed that the car was restored in Italy during the ownership of Dr. Franco Ronchi then sold to Milanese collector Guido Artom. The current owner, a respected Southern California collector, purchased the SS from Sig. Artom and imported it into the US.
Very well presented in all respects, and finished in a beautiful, distinctive color scheme, this limited-production Alfa Romeo is offered with ASI documents, Automobile Club d’Italia (ACI) records, and a rare original Giulia SS Instruction Book. Rarely seen in such fine condition, this Sprint Speciale ought to serve as a fun, practical, and stylish choice for show or tour.
